Leave data corrections take priority

THE migration of Army leave data from various legacy information systems to PMKeyS for Go Live on July 8 was mostly successful thanks to Army and Corporate Services Infrastructure (CSI) clerical staff, who reconciled records before this data being offered up for migration to PMKeyS.

A few leave records for Army personnel were not reconciled, resulting in corruption of their data on PMKeyS and for a small number, a leave account was not activated at all. Pers Branch – Army is now working with all affected Army units to fully correct both of these anomalies.

High priority has been assigned to ensuring all Army personnel have active leave accounts by November 30, providing units present their corrected data prior to this date.

The next priority goes to correcting the anomalies that have been identified within existing leave records.

For both types of user difficulty, units (and CSI organisations) are encouraged to follow advice and procedures provided by the Army PMKeyS Cell in Pers Branch – Army. With this collaborative effort, Pers Branch – Army is confident that each member of Army will have an active leave record, where so entitled, and the leave balance held in the PMKeyS database will be correct.

  • The Pers Branch–Army point of contact is the SO1 Information Management, Lt-Col Greg Tolcher, (02) 6266 4892.
