Entries will not be accepted after November 21 and must include the sender's name, rank, unit and location. The winning entry will be published in the December 5 edition. The Winner will receive a copy of The Australian Army by Dr Al Palazzo, published by Oxford University Press in association with the Australian Army.

In the final edition for 2002, an overall winner will be selected from each edition’s winners and will receive a complete set of the Australian Army History series from Oxford, courtesy of the Army History Unit.
