Three members of the New Zealand Army’s SAS have been wounded in Afghanistan.

The soldiers were travelling in a vehicle which hit a land mine on October 22.

Minister Assisting the Minister for Defence Danna Vale said she extended best wishes to the soldiers for a speedy recovery.

“It is also a reminder of the way in which Australian and New Zealand personnel continue to serve shoulder to shoulder in Afghanistan and also in East Timor in the defence of our shared values.”
