Wanted: Defence triathletes to compete in one of the worlds
best sporting festivals, the Noosa Olympic Distance Triathlon.
Up
to 3500 triathletes will take to the event as individuals or as
team members for the 1.5km swim, 40km cycle and 10km run on November
3.
The
field will consist of novice triathletes to the professionals,
with the novices just happy to cross the finish line some three-and-a-half
hours later, while the professionals will be looking towards the
2004 Olympic Games.
The
Noosa Triathlon gives all members of the Defence Force an opportunity
to compete with the best, either by forming a team with friends
or trying the race as an individual.
The
Australian Services Triathlon Association (ASTA), with the help
of sponsor ADI Limited, will provide race singlets valued at $45
free to all members of the ADF competing in this race.

ADF team will assemble at 4pm on Saturday, November 2 in the registration
area where uniforms will be distributed and members will be required
to be in the team photo.
