CANBERRA, Brisbane and Sydney were on the agenda for 38 senior officers from the three services of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) who recently visited Australia.

The officers, led by one of the vice presidents of the PLA National Defence University Lt-Gen Gao Jindian were students from the year-long PLA Senior Command Course. For many, it was their first time outside China.

The Gold Coast and Sydney Harbour provided some of the most memorable moments for the delegation, as did the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the qualities of the ADF.
