Brews and biscuits

THE ADF-accredited philanthropic organisation, Everyman’s Welfare Services, has set up a facility to allow officers and soldiers to donate money through an allotment from their fortnightly pay.

Everyman’s is well known among soldiers for delivering hot and cold brews and biscuits when they are in the field. Most soldiers will also remember them from their time at Kapooka.

At present they have nine full-time representatives supporting the ADF, including one who is soon to deploy to East Timor with 5/7RAR as part of Op Citadel.

Everyman’s Chief Commissioner Bob Rogers guaranteed that money donated would be used only in direct support of ADF personnel and their families.

Officers and soldiers should consider making this allotment only after thoroughly reviewing their personal circumstances.

It should also be noted that the allotment can be ceased, increased or decreased at any time the member sees fit.

Officers and soldiers considering making donations by allotment should contact their unit pay representative.
