Keogh
conquers gruelling challenge
AN
AUSTRALIAN Army officer assigned to the US Army Intelligence
Centre at Fort Huachuca in Arizona staved off two near drownings
in a remarkable 362km journey to help her team win the 2002
US Armed Forces Eco-Challenge in Alaska.

of the three service newspapers and is now the central point
of contact for all Army and ADF sport.
Endurance
test
The
ADF Marathon Championships were held recently as part of
the Sydney Marathon and 10km Bridge Run, with about 30 members
tackling one of the toughest marathon courses in the country.
Soccer
squad tours
AN
AUSTRALIAN Combined Service Soccer Association (ACSSA) squad
is currently on tour in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia after
accepting an invitation from former ambassador to Vietnam
Mr Michael Mann in HMAS Perth (CO Lou Rago) back in 1999.

Chasing
bream
ENCOURAGING
results at the first round of the Queensland Bream Series
with Matt Fraser, Leo OReilly and myself keen for an
attempt at round two.
The
competition was held at Caloundra on July 27-28, throughout
the Pumicestone Passage into northern Moreton Bay.
