Rams AFL team enjoy a rousing song after a game during the season.

The season is over for the ADFA Rams Australian Rules Football Club, whose
reserve team contested the grand final without being able to capture a pennant.
Solid preparation and performances in pre-season competition, thanks
largely to coaches Capt Chris White (seniors), Cpl Mick Rush (reserves),
and OCdt Sam 'Sharky' Harkiss (females), the Rams looked ready for a big
season.
In an early setback, Rams Seniors captain, OCdt Rowan 'Nails' Curtis
suffered a knee injury that ended his season before it had begun and left
a large hole in the team.
Despite this setback, all the signs were promising for the senior team
at the half-way mark of the season, having struck their best form with
big wins over league leaders Belconnen, and arch nemesis RMC.
The other teams did not fare as well - the female side was decimated
by injuries and had an early finish to the season, while the reserves
struggled with bad form.
Despite their troubles, the reserves managed to drag themselves from
well out of the top four to a finals berth.
With the added experience of former Adjutant Maj Shaun 'Irish' O'Leary
the reserves turned the corner with a mammoth victory over league leaders
Tuggeranong, who had not been beaten for two years.
The reserves first semi-final was a nail biter, the team coming from
behind when OCdt Matthew Ford kicked a goal to level the scores at full
time, sending the game into overtime.
In the next ten minutes ADFA dominated Woden to progress into the preliminary
final.
The ADFA Seniors stayed behind all day until the persistence of Capt
Lochie McLean in the final quarter broke the Gungahlin defenders backs
and ADFA walked out with the victory.
The preliminary final for the reserves was very much an ADFA affair,
with the boys dominating Murrimbidgee all day in what was an impressive
victory to rocket them to the grand final.
Seniors failed to overcome Belconnen despite the strong-arm tactics of
Plt-Off Martin Barr, and a massive effort from ruckman OCdts David Woerner
and Darian Macey.
