Do you have what it takes to get Bashed? Would your boss give you the time to go on an adventure training expedition between August 5 and 20 this year?

Do you have a strong desire to represent the RAN and the ADF as part of a Navy charity team?

If you answered yes to all of the above then you have what it takes to become a member of the Navy NSW Variety Bash Team. The Bash is Australia’s most successful charity motoring event. It is the focal fundraiser for Variety and involves teams driving rough outback roads in cars registered before 1970. The annual event is not a rally or a race, rather a fun way to raise money for Australia’s sick, disabled and disadvantaged children.

The 2007 Base to Bathurst Bash will start at Fleet Base East on August 5 and finish on August 17 at HMAS Bathurst alongside at HMAS Coonawarra in Darwin. The trip will include a stopover at Katherine for Armed Services Day.
