Navy puts weight into Talisman Sabre
Exercise Talisman Sabre 2007 is underway, with 16 ships and 3500 Navy personnel participating.
   
Navy’s model behaviour
On May 4, Centurion, the Navy sponsored 1/16 Scale FFH model was “launched” onboard HMAS Ballarat during an official reception.
   
ON THE WAY: The Navantia designed F100 destroyer, one of three that will be built for Navy. They will be known as the Hobart class. Pictured is what the future HMAS Hobart could look like. Navantia, a Spanish company, has also been chosen to deliver two amphibious ships.
