Don’t leave your leave too late

Navy has issued a reminder that leave will lapse if personnel’s July 1, 2002 leave balance is not used by July 1 this year.

Leave lapsing occurs automatically in PMKeyS on July 1 every year. Navy members should determine their leave lapsing situation from their administrative staff or through PMKeyS Self Service (PSS).

Where exceptional circumstances have prevented members from utilising the minimum amount of leave over the past three years, a leave lapsing exemption can be applied for.

Applications for leave lapsing exemptions are to be made through the chain command to the Maritime and Systems Commanders.

Applications for exemptions are to be processed in sufficient time to ensure approvals can be recorded PMKeyS by June 24.
