Graduates with wings

The RAN’s latest aircrewmen graduated last month after nine months of intensive training. (L-R) LSA Adele Shimmings, LSA Nick Hipwood and LSA Louise Gilmour graduated at the Australian Museum of Flight, after ground and air training at HMAS Albatross.

Dux of the course was LSA Shimmings, who achieved the best results during both the airborne and ground school phases. Commander Australian Navy Aviation Group, CDRE Keith Eames, reviewed the graduates in front of 30 guests. CHAP Brooker performed the dedication of ‘Wings’.
