Toll appoints removalists panel

If you have relocated more than once, you will know there are a variety of removalists Toll Transitions use to transport our valuables from one end of the land to the other. But on what basis do they choose removalists to their panel?

Toll Transitions rigorously check the credentials of any removalist seeking panel membership.

In checking the capability of any applicant for panel membership, Toll Transitions’ staff pay particular attention to details such as:

  • the period the applicant has been in the removals business, their legal entity and trading arrangements;
  • the routes on which the applicant can clearly demonstrate, through its references and quality audit results, it is competent to provide a consistently high standard of service;
  • details of the business’ industry background, financial stability, experience and operational capability;
  • whether the applicant seeks to provide storage services and if so, the location of the storage facility and the administrative and operational support in place;
  • naming all proposed sub-contractors and the purpose for which they will be used, and providing evidence to support their suitability;
  • security arrangements, communication, office facilities, management systems and any value added services to support the activity levels applied for.

Toll Transitions reviews providers’ performance at least every six months and more often if appropriate. Toll Transitions stops buying from providers where they do not suitably perform.

If you have relocated, then provide Toll with feedback so they can continue to provide the best possible service to you, the customer.
