Movie Review

Only if there's nothing else on
Crossroads

Stars Britney Spears, Justin Long. Roadshow. Rated M. 93 minutes

Reviewer :: Mark Eaton

If you’re a big fan of Britney Spears and you’d like to understand the teenager in your family a little better then Crossroads is the film to watch.

Essentially a road movie which seems to parallel the rocky path from teens to adulthood, this is the story of three very different girls who made a childhood pact to stay friends forever.

Lucy (Spears), Kit (Zoe Saldana) and Mimi (Taryn Manning) embark on a cross-country journey, each trying to discover what they want in life; each with a different quest. This is a journey of self-discovery for the girls with lots of singing, soul searching and adventures along the way.

Crossroads features a modern upbeat soundtrack (most are Britney’s songs) and stunning visuals of the American countryside.

I recommend you watch Crossroads if there’s absolutely nothing on TV.
