Veterans facing marital difficulties will soon have access to
a funded accommodation program through the Vietnam Veterans’
Counselling Service. The program is aimed at reducing the risk
of family break-ups within the Vet’s community.
It
will provide short-term accommodation for the veteran away from
their family environment. This would provide both the veteran
and the family space to settle and seek help and support from
the Counselling Service to get their lives and marriages back
together.
