Navy soccer
For the first time since the inception of the National Interservice Soccer Carnival, the Navy's male team won the competition, with eight players selected in the 12-man ADF squad.
They are: LSAT Jabbs (ALBATROSS), LSCSO Lacatose (KANIMBLA), LSRO Davenport (GEELONG), ABET Waller (STIRLING), ABMT Pippen (WATERHEN), ABSTD Oldham (KANIMBLA), ABWTR Mason (KUTTABUL) and ABMT Morris (STIRLING).
A female squad was also selected to tour Malaysia, with the following Navy players: POET Connelley (ADFRC ALBURY), ABBM Lynd (ADELAIDE), ABAT Knox (ALBATROSS) and ABEW Pleiter (ALBATROSS).
LEUT Paul Denneny (HMAS WATERHEN) is the coach for both male and female teams.

RAN rugby
Yes, we know it's the off-season, but now is the time to consider coaching and refereeing training course for the RAN Rugby Union.

League in WA
Are you a rugby league supporter presently in the Western Australia area, or are being posted to WA in the near future?
If you still want to be involved in rugby league, the Rockingham Rugby League is looking for players of all ages from under-7s through to first graders for the 2001 season. Coaches and supporters for all grades are also required.
The Rockingham Raiders has been established for the past 14 years, fielding grades from under-7s to reserve grade last season, and is looking to break into first grade in 2001.

Parachute c'ships
The 15th ADF Parachute Championships, in conjunction with the 4th Asiania Parachute Championships, will be held from November 27 to December 8 at RAAF base Wagga.
