Military Justice
Improving our military justice system
The Inspector General of the ADF, who monitors the military justice system, has commissioned a questionnaire to seek feedback from Defence personnel, or anyone who has had a first-hand experience with the Defence Force Discipline Act or complaints process.
It is open to anyone who has been:
- involved with infringement notices;
- charged;
- a defending or prosecuting officer;
- involved in a redress of grievance; or
- involved in an unacceptable behaviour complaint either as a witness, respondent, investigator or the complainant.
Whether your experience was good or not so good, your feedback will help improve the system to benefit all Defence personnel.
It is vital to have a military justice system which personnel trust to deliver unbiased, timely and fair outcomes.
The information gathered will assist in confirming best practice, ensuring that any concerns are addressed. Input will be non-attributable and treated in confidence.
