Supporting the teams in the fight
Forces Support Group (FSG) personnel perform logistics tasks in order to support Exercise Hamel 2010.
FSG is made up of soldiers from 17 Combat Service Support Brigade (CSSB); including 2 Force Support Battalion (FSB), 9 FSB and elements from 11 Brigade, including; 11 CSSB, 25/49 Royal Queensland Regiment Townsville, 1 Signal Regiment, Queensland University Regiment, Brisbane and Forces Command, Sydney.
FSG deployed to Exercise Hamel to provide general combat service support and Military Policing to 3rd Brigade, including foodstuffs, fuel, ammunition, construction stores, medical stores and repair parts and components.
