Between 1942 and 1945 122 American, 31 British and 11 Dutch submarines used Australian Ports with the Port of Fremantle having the largest role. Members from SUBFOR, The Submarine Association of Australia and The Submarine Institute of Australia gathered beside the Submarine Ovens at the WA Maritime Museum, Fremantle, Western Australia to to pay their respects to the Submariners who paid the ultimate sacrifice.
