Army Showcases Medicial Careers

A specialist Army medical officer candidate experience has been held at Gallipoli Barracks in Brisbane for around 40 potential candidates in a day of activities and interaction with serving members designed to answer and demystify some of the common misconceptions surrounding medical careers within the ADF.

Attracting and retaining sufficient numbers of health professionals continues to be a challenge as Defence competes with the private and public sectors.

The day showcased what the ADF has to offer specialist medical officers and the many other career opportunities available in the Navy, Army and Air Force.
