Navy Rugby League Tackle Hamish & Andy

For the lucky players who ran on representing RAN Ships (Navy Tridents) and RAN Shore, a game of Rugby League on Saturday was a chance to enjoy good times with two of Australia's funniest blokes, Hamish Blake and Andy Lee.

It was a rainy afternoon at Randwick Barracks but even the weather couldn't deter the group of fans who braved the cold to see the two funny men run on as part of their Bi Bi Tri Biathlon.

This ambitious endeavour took them to sporting venues in Sydney and Melbourne and saw them put themselves through a punishing 24 sports in 48 hours!

The astounding program included Women's Weightlifting, Darts, Indoor Cricket, Surfboat Rowing, Softball, Mixed Netball, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Fencing, Waterpolo, Ladies Gaelic Football, Junior Athletics Carnival, Rugby League, Touch Football, Squash, Cycling, Rowing, Ice Hockey, Tennis, Indoor Soccer, Swimming, Field Hockey, Boomerangs, Table Tennis and last, but not least, Basketball.

Hamish ran on with a niggling groin injury made worse by a pre-biathlon massage with chilli powder infused Deep Heat - compliments of Andy.

Andy, on the other hand, ran on missing one of his front teeth - which was cause for a few chuckles during the meet and greet with the team.

With pleasantries aside the game began. In a game that could only be described as spectacularly funny, Hamish & Andy demonstrated their lack of understanding of the rules, average skills and questionable fitness! Hamish did manage to score a Try, which he converted sans shorts in a tribute to their Pants Off Fridays segment.

The name of the game was fun and certainly everyone was all smiles afterwards. Somehow the score didn't seem to matter. After taking some time to meet fans and record a message to sailors serving overseas they were back on the bus and off to their next sport.
