Testing Newly Installed Equipment at Tindals Contolling Unit

Air Force personnel witness on-site acceptance testing of Project Vigilare, at the Northern Regional Operational Centre in Tindal, NT.

Developed by Boeing Defence Australia, Project Vigilare is a Network Centric Command and Control System (NC3S) solution for the Royal Australian Air Force. Upon being accepted by the Commonwealth of Australia, it will integrate advanced technologies that combine data from land, sea, air and space platforms, sensors, data links and intelligence agencies to provide tactical and strategic-level surveillance and battlespace management operations across wide geographic regions.
