The CA was conducting his monthly Chief of Army's Senior Advisory Committe in Brisbane where the Army's nine senior officers discuss and plan the important issues facing the Army. Lt-Gen Gillespie took time out from the official business to talk to partners of soldiers presently deployed overseas at morning tea.
