RMC Graduation Parade

Since the original class at Duntroon graduated in August 1914, the Graduation Parade has traditionally been the final parade of the senior class as members of the Corps of Staff Cadets.

THE ROYAL MILITARY COLLEGE OF AUSTRALIA

The Charter of the Royal Military College of Australia is to prepare cadets and other selected candidates for careers as officers in the Army by promoting learning, leadership and integrity; by inspiring high ideals and the pursuit of excellence; and inculcating a sense of duty, loyalty and service to Australia.

The purpose of training at RMC is to imbue cadets with the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to assume their first appointment as an officer in the Australian Army. The training is intense and demanding, and is focused on realising a cadet's leadership potential, developing decision making skills, and engendering an understanding of and a commitment to the Army ethos. Graduates complete further specialist training at either the Combined Arms Training Centre, the Army Logistic Training Centre or other corps Training Centers after graduation.
