On Wednesday 2 June 2010, No. 33 Squadron conducted a parade to consecrate the recently awarded Squadron Standard. A Squadron Standard is awarded by order of the Sovereign to an operational squadron for having completed 25 years of service in the RAAF or for having earned the Sovereign’s appreciation for especially outstanding operations. The Standard is inscribed with battle honours.
