Final King Air handover for No. 38 Squadron
On 6 July 2010, the eighth and final King Air for No. 38 Squadron was handed over at RAAF Base Townsville. The King Air is serving as an Interim Light Transport for the Australian Defence Force, providing efficient, reliable and responsive transport across Australia and the greater region. The first three King Airs were handed over from Army Aviation in November 2009, and five new aircraft have been delivered to the Squadron.
