After almost 65 years since it was disbanded at the end of the Second World War, the Royal Australian Air Force has officially reformed No. 460 Squadron (460SQN). The reformation ceremony was held beneath the Australian War Memorial’s “G for George” a Second World War 460SQN Lancaster Bomber which flew 90 operational missions during the height of the bomber offensive.
