The official farewell parade was hosted by the Chief of Army, Lieutenant General Ken Gillespie AO, DSC, AM, CSM and commanded by Brigadier Stephen Day, DSC, ADC, the Commander of the 7th Brigade. Also attending the parade was the Honourable Greg Combet, Minister of Defence Personnel Material and Science.
