HMA Ships Darwin and Sirius conduct a Replenishment at Sea
The Royal Australian Navy Fleet Concentration Period (FCP 10-1) is a fleet training activity conducted in the East Australian Exercise Areas, in the vicinity of Jervis Bay and in waters off Newcastle and Eden on the NSW South Coast, the Shoalwater Bay Training Area and Townsville, Queensland during the period 8 February to 12 March 2010.
The exercise incorporates TASMANEX, a bilateral exercise conducted with the Royal New Zealand Navy, MULGOGGER, aimed at maintaining mine warfare and clearance diving proficiencies, SQUADEX and SEA LION, which are joint amphibious training exercises using small and large landing craft.
FCP 10-1 is a four-phase activity, commencing with passage and shakedown of individual units in Phase One, followed by a Harbour phase. Phase Three consists of Force Integration Training at sea with themed weeks, culminating in a weekly mini war to determine training progress. The final phase consists of a tactical transfer to New Zealand and conduct of further training and Long Navigation Course in New Zealand.
Ships taking part in FCP 10-1 are HMA Ships Anzac, Darwin, Arunta, Warramunga, Newcastle, Ballarat, Sirius, Manoora, Huon, Diamantina, Gascoyne, Balikpapan, Brunei, Betano, Labuan, Tarakan and Wewak, and MSA Bandicoot and Wallaroo, as well as HMNZ Ships Te Mana and Canterbury. Aircraft will be contributed by the RAN's 723 Squadron, 816 Squadron and 817 Squadron, as well as the RAAF's 92 Wing, 5 Squadron, 78 Wing, 81 Wing, 82 Wing, 41 Wing, PelAir and EWTS.

Able Seaman Communications and Information Systems Michael Cucilovic is currently serving in HMAS Darwin. AB Cucilovic was the first infant to be christened with water from the ships bell in 1984. He holds the bell which has his name engraved along the inside rim.
