Australian Task Force 8 Christmas
Australian Task Force 8 (Rear), based at Robertson Barracks, has the responsibility of providing Welfare Support to the families of personnel deployed on operations.
On the first Saturday of each month an activity is arranged to enable families to meet in an informal setting to establish a social network among themselves. These events also give families the opportunity to talk to Unit welfare Officers, social workers and other community organisations that attend these functions.
On Saturday 4th December the function was Christmas themed with an appearance by Santa, Army vehicle displays, a snake and crocodile display from Territory Wildlife Park as well as presentations by The Commander of 1st Brigade and the Commanding Officer of Australian Task Force 8 (Rear).
