Defence sign MOU with Customs

The MOU between Defence and Customs is a single over-arching agreement between the two agencies.

The purpose of this MOU is to promote cooperative arrangements between the Parties and to clarify the roles, responsibilities and relationship that exist between them in areas of mutual interest.

This agreement formalises the working relationship between Defence and Customs - a relationship that has grown into a mature partnership built on operational needs.

Defence and Customs already have a number of established agreements covering cooperation between the two agencies which will come under the umbrella of the MOU after signature, and there is further interest to develop others.
