Ipswich City Council Carols by Candlelight
The Mayor Paul Pisasale's Christmas Carols by Candlelight at the Ipswich Turf Club was a chance for the RAAF to say thank you and for the community to say goodbye as the famous F111 dump and burn closed the event.

Host of the Ipswich City Carols by Candlelight, and dressed in a pilot suit to honour the farewell of the F111, is Mayor Paul Pisasale (left) and Ipswich Councillor Cheryl Bromage (right) with Jack and Zane Bowser, of the Gold Coast. When Jack and Zane heard about the event of the F111 dump and burn at the Ipswich City Carols by Candlelight they wrote a letter of thanks to the Mayor saying that he is the “best Mayor ever”.
