ADFA Supports World’s Greatest Shave
The Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) has conducted their own World’s Greatest Shave event to help raise much needed funds for the Leukaemia Foundation.
ADFA has been a proud supporter of this event and has raised thousands of dollars for this worthy cause.
The event has become very popular among the Academy’s midshipmen and officer cadets with the number of participants increasing every year.
This year, over 70 midshipmen and officer cadets, as well as a number of staff members, stepped up to the plate and offered to have their heads shaved or hair coloured in support of patients and families living with leukaemia, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders.
ADFA has raised in excess of $1600 for the Leukaemia Foundation with more donations still pouring in.
