Welcome home parade for MRTF 2 Personnel
The Townsville community were invited to Lavarack Barracks on Saturday the 10th of April 2010 to formally welcome home ADF personnel from worldwide operational service. The parade was reviewed by Chief of the Australian Army Lieutenant General Ken Gillespie. The parade featured Bushmaster vehicles, a riderless pony to represent Private Benjamin Ranaudo who was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2009, and a flypast by a Chinook and Blackhawk helicopters
