Townsville Air Show Media Launch
The event was held at RAAF Base Townsville to launch the Defence Force Air Display and Open Day Townsville 2009. The day included interviews by local newspapers, radio and television stations, who also had the chance to inspect a DHC-4 Caribou tactical transport aircraft. Following the launch, media had the exciting opportunity to fly in a Caribou that took to air over the Townsville Strand, allowing members of the media in their aircraft to gather aerial vision and still photographs of the second Caribou.
