Black Hawk air insertion during Exercise Olgeta Warrior

Exercise Tuari Taudia is the name given to the amphibious phase of exercise Olgeta Warrior.

As part of the amphibious phase, Papua New Guinea Defence Force and Australian Defence Force soldiers were inserted by sea and air across the exercise area of operation.

Landing Craft Mediums, landed at Tahira Wharf with personnel and vehicles on board, simultaneously Landing Amphibious Resupply Cargo (LARC) landed at Black Beach.

This landing and air insertion marked the beginning of a three day land exercise consolidating the skills that were learnt during Exercise Olgeta Warrior.
