Papua New Guinea Defence Force (PNGDF) and Auastralian Defence Force (ADF) members from Wantok Warrior embark in HMAS KANIMBLA to participate in training and rehearsal activities prior to participating in Exercise Tuari Taudia, the amphibious phase of Exercise Olgeta Warrior.
PNGDF members and many ADF members required briefings on aircraft prior to participating in air insertions as well as rehearsals of stern door marriages for the Landing Craft Mediums and Liter Amphibious Resupply Cargo, for Navy and Army members. For the PNGDF contingent and many of the Army members, this was a new environment and every effort was made to ensure that all members understood the way that the amphibious activity would occur. Ships company were able to assist in the training environment.
