Olgeta Warrior 09 is a joint Australian Defence Force (ADF) and Papua New Guinea Defence Force (PNGDF) exercise which will enhance the interoperability of both nations.
The increased interoperability that will be achieved will enhance the ability for both nations to work together to achieve regional security and increase the ability to provide short notice Humanitarian Aid and Disaster relief. Exercise Olgeta Warrior 09 is the largest bilateral exercise
between the PNGDF and ADF since PNG’s independence.
