Tall Ship Regatta 2009

Sail Training Ship Young Endeavour took part in a Tall Ship Regatta, racing the square-rigged ship Leeuwin II for the prestigious Australian Sail Training Association (AUSTA) Billy Can Trophy for 2009. The ships sailed north along the coast from Fremantle towards Cottesloe, before heading out to sea and then racing to the finish line at North Mole.

On 23rd May 2009 sail training ship Young Endeavour embarked on a Circumnavigation of Australia. The ship departed from Sydney with a program that included visits to Brisbane, Bundaberg, Mackay, Airlie Beach, Townsville, Cairns, Darwin, Broome, Exmouth, Fremantle, Esperance, Adelaide, and Williamstown. Young Endeavour will return to Sydney in December 2009.
