Funeral Corporal Mathew Hopkins
Corporal Mathew Hopkins was farewelled by family and friends in Newcastle today.
Mourners crowded Christ Church Cathedral for the service that followed a ramp ceremony at RAAF Williamtown on Monday.
Corporal Hopkins, from the 7th Battalion, the Royal Australian Regiment, was Killed In Action in Afghanistan on 16 March while on a joint patrol with the Afghan National Army near Kakarak, north Tarin Kowt in Oruzgan Province.
