ADF assistance to QLD Oil Spill

Emergency Management Australia has requested Defence to assist in locating and marking the positions of the remaining missing containers from the cargo ship Pacific Adventurer. HMAS Yarra, a Huon Class minehunter, has deployed from Sydney and is expected to arrive in Moreton Bay on Thursday. HMAS Yarra is the closest suitable vessel to undertake this task.
