The Australian Defence Force provided a tri-service catafalque and flag party to mark the 67th Anniversary of the bombing of Darwin.
Two F/A-18 Hornets of 75 Squadron, based at RAAF Tindal, flew over the Darwin Cenotaph.
Forty-four soldiers from the 8th/12th Medium Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery; under command of Lieutenant Matthew Barletta of the 103rd Medium Battery, operated a battery of M2A2 Howitzers, with machine gun support, to conduct a re-enactment of anti-aircraft fire.
