20/20009 Recruit Course graduation parade
20/09 Recruit Course graduation represents the commencement of careers for 167 young people within Air Force.
This course was the last to graduate from 1 Recruit Training Unit (1RTU) for 2009, with over 900 recruits graduating throughout 2009.
After graduating from 1RTU, recruits will be well trained and ready to undertake their initial employment training which will provide them with qualifications to meet the support requirements of increasingly complex and technically diverse weapon systems.
Demonstrating the strength and breadth of the Air Force family, parade guests include the graduates ' families, and previous and current members of the Air Force community.
Training the super course was made possible through the closest cooperation with the base support services and a team effort from all at RAAF Base Wagga.
1RTU's mission- To graduate airman with the essential knowledge, skills and values to enable them to become members of the Air Force team;
