Battle of Long Tan Memorial Service Brisbane
The 43rd anniversary of the Battle of Long Tan (August 18th 1966) was commemorated at St. John's Cathedral in Brisbane, Queensland on Tuesday, August 18th 2009.
During the service the 18 Australian soldiers that lost their lives in the battle were remembered.
The Governer of Queensland, Commander 1st Division, Colonel Commandant Royal Australian Infantry Corps and members of 6 RAR Delta Company attended the service.
