The World Cruising Club Yacht Rally departs from HMAS Coonawarra
The Royal Australian Navy base HMAS Coonawarra hosted the start of the next leg of the Round-the-World Yachting Rally.
The rally is being organised by the World Cruising Club. Around 20 yachts from around the world arrived in Darwin over the last week, in preparation for the next leg. This leg will see them farewell Australia as they make their way to Bali in Indonesia.
The Indonesian Consular in Darwin, Mr Harbangan Napitupulu, attended the start of the leg from HMAS Coonawarra.
