HMAS Arunta Visits Alice Springs
HMAS Arunta's Commanding Officer, Commander Tim Brown, and his crew members visit various Alice Springs organisations for their annual catch up with the Indigenous Arunta people.
HMAS Arunta visited Alice Springs for the week following up to the famous Henley - on - Todd Regatta. The Commanding Officer, Commander Tim Brown, followed by 8 other crew members visited various local organisations around Alice Springs to promote the respected reputation of the Royal Australian Navy in a remote locality. The crew then went on to compete in many events in the Regatta with a sturdy vessel that was made for them by the local primary school students of Alice Springs.
