Exercise Swift Eagle 08
Swift Eagle 08, the Combined Training Centre’s warfighter exercise, is being conducted at the Townsville Field Training Area from October 7 to November 2, 2008.
Bringing together force elements from the Australian and New Zealand Defence Forces, Swift Eagle 08 is the biggest Army exercise this year with over 2,500 participants.
The exercise provides valuable experience in the field at the tactical level by offering personnel a chance to operate in a combined arms environment.
