Memorial Service - Reburial of the Unknown Sailor
The Minister for Defence, the Honourable Joel Fitzgibbon, MP has joined families at the reburial of HMAS Sydney II’s unknown sailor in Geraldton, Western Australia.
67 years after HMAS SYDNEY II was lost at sea ,the Minister for Defence, the Hon MrJoel Fitzgibbon MP was joined by the Minster for Defence Science and Personnel, the Honourable Warren Snowdon MP, the Chief of Navy, Vice Admiral Russ Crane AM CSM and hundreds of HMAS SYDNEY II families for a memorial service.
