Armoured Fighting Vehicle Range live-fire practice at Mount Bundey

27 May 2008

The 2nd Cavalry Regiment's Bravo Squadron conducted a live-fire range practice at the new Armoured Fighting Vehicle Range at Mount Bundey in the Northern Territory.

The Squadron must constantly maintain its skills to a high level of readiness, as do all 1st Brigade units, to answer a call by the Australian Government to deploy at a moment's notice.

Other weapons fired were the 0.50" calibre heavy machine gun and the ASLAV's main armament, the 25mm cannon.
