Aid arrives in Burma

Operation Nargis Assist was launched at Australian Government direction to provide Australian emergency relief to the Burmese people.
The C-17 today delivered 31 tonnes of emergency relief supplies from Defence and AusAID to Burma, including water purification tablets, blankets, tarpaulins and medical supplies.
